Bench 01 Laser cutting
Box Maker
Punch in length, width, height, material thickness and kerf. Get a finger-jointed box laid out flat, ready to send to the cutter as an SVG.
Astounding Shape Creator
Push a few sliders and watch parametric shapes appear — stars, gears, petals, impossible curves. Export clean paths for cutting or engraving.
Kerf Comb Maker
Cut one little comb and find the true kerf of your machine on this board. Two minutes of cutting saves a whole sheet of guesswork later.
Kerf Hole Maker
Cut a row of holes stepping around your target size, then find the one a dowel presses into by hand. Dial in a true press fit instead of guessing.
The Infinite Flower Creator
Petal maths made playful — set the count, round or sharpen the petals, push the separation and watch a bloom appear. Export the SVG and cut it.
The Curious Puzzle Maker
Turn any size grid into a real jigsaw — interlocking tabbed pieces nested into one sheet, exported as a clean SVG ready for the laser.
Making Mechanical Movements
Design a single laser-cut movement — cam, crank, scotch yoke, rack and pinion — dial in the geometry and lay it out flat to cut.
The Clever Contraptions Corner
Chain gears, cams, scotch yokes and racks into a working mechanism on the Complex Workbench, then lay the whole machine out flat for the laser.
Bench 02 Design
Repeating Pattern Studio
Build seamless tiling patterns for engraving, wallpaper, fabric or wrapping paper. Preview the tile, tweak the repeat, download the artwork.
The SVG Image Tracer
Turn a photo or sketch into clean vector paths — set the threshold, recolour or hide layers, export the SVG. Good for design work and ready to send straight to the laser cutter.
Bench 03 3D printing
The Astounding Solid Maker
Supershapes, vessels and cutters, straight out to a watertight STL. Twist, flute and taper a form on the lathe, then send it to the printer.
Crazy Fidget Maker
Generate wild spinners, snappers and gear fidgets tuned to your printer, then send them straight to the bed. A bit of harmless desk chaos.
The Curious 3D Puzzle Maker
Lay out a full set of interlocking 3D jigsaw pieces, spaced apart and ready to slice — the printable cousin of the laser Puzzle Maker.
